February 21st Ivet Bayés and Laia Egea (ATHLOS researchers from PSSJD team) took part in the IV Jornada Científica BiblioPRO, which was held in the Spanish Escuela Nacional de Sanidad (ISCIII), Madrid.
Laia Egea presented the steps of the harmonisation process and showed some features of the ATHLOS harmonised dataset, highlighting the benefits of that process and the aims of the project. Ivet Bayés presented part of her PhD research related to multimorbidity patterns using three of the harmonised ATHLOS studies. She used Latent Class Analysis to identify the different groups of conditions in eight regions over the world. Both presentations engaged the audience attention arousing curiosity for the harmonisation and its applications.
