STUDYING AGEING TRAJECTORIES OF HEALTH

AIM AND OBJECTIVES
To achieve a better understanding of ageing by identyfying patterns and determinants of healthy ageing pathways, detecting individuals at risk, and proposing timely interventions to promote healthy ageing.
Department of Epidemiology and Population Studies Institute of Public Health
As a partner of the ATHLOS consortium, Department of Epidemiology and Population Studies, will provide data on: physical and mental health, biomarkers, lifestyle and social environment, which were collected in the HAPIEE (Health Alcohol and Psychosocial factors In Eastern Europe) Project. The results will enable to understand ageing trajectories, to prepare a health policy and social response to the demographic shift, and specifically to help people age in good health and promote their well-being.
